terms & conditions
By registering for and attending a ceramic workshop, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
nature of pottery
1
Ceramics is a hands-on, unpredictable process. By participating, you acknowledge and understand that:
- Finished pieces are not guaranteed to be perfect, functional, or food-safe.
- Variations in shape, size, glaze color, texture, and finish are normal and expected.
- The final outcome of your piece is largely dependent on the techniques used in creating the piece.
By registering or participating, you accept that the handmade nature of pottery is part of the experience.
kiln & firing risks
2
While we take every care with your work, pottery involves inherent risks during drying, firing, and glazing. Pieces may crack, warp, or break in the kiln. Glaze results may vary or differ from expectations.
Unfortunately, broken or damaged pieces due to firing issues cannot be refunded or remade, as this is a natural risk of the ceramic process.

Finished pieces must be picked up within 90 days of the pickup notification date. Due to limited studio storage space, pieces not collected within this timeframe will no longer be the responsibility of the studio and may be discarded, donated or recycled.
No refunds or credits will be issued for unclaimed pieces.
Pickup reminders may be sent as a courtesy, but it is ultimately the participant’s responsibility to retrieve their work within the timeframe.
The studio reserves the right to:
Cancel or reschedule a workshop due to low enrollment, illness, or unforeseen circumstances (in which case participants will receive a refund or credit).
Refuse service to anyone whose behavior is disruptive or unsafe.
