In this hands-on ceramic hand building workshop, you’ll learn how to make your very own ceramic, wall-mounted picture frame from start to finish.
You’ll be guided through the basics of working with clay as you shape, texture, and decorate your frame by hand. Add your own personal touches with patterns, impressions, stamps, and other creative details to make a piece that feels uniquely yours.
No previous pottery experience is necessary, just come ready to get your hands dirty and have fun. You can use one of our existing templates, or put your own spin on the frame! We’ll have all the tools + materials needed, and take care of the firing and finishing process. Your completed ceramic frame will be ready to pick up 6 weeks after the workshop.
Experience level: Beginner-friendly, no experience necessary
What you’ll make: One handmade, wall-hanging, ceramic picture frame; shape and size of your choosing, with maximum measurements of 7”x7”
What you’ll do: Hand building, slab rolling, decorating and painting
